I am a retired special education teacher who is now a writer, entrepreneur and daycare provider for my granddaughter. My brother and I have been close our entire lives so it shattered me when he died at 47 years old unexpectedly. Our parents were already deceased. So it was a blessing to not see my parents grieve, but a challenge because I didn't have them to mourn with.
