Dan Older

Dan Older works as a professional transportation provider for people with non-medical needs. In this capacity, he ushers people to and from appointments with compassion and grace.  In his down time, he is part of a hot air balloon crew and has a unique hobby of ghost hunting with his wife and friends. 

In 2019, Dan’s life would change when his only brother, Brad, would die from a massive heart attack. Immediately Dan started writing poetry to help process his thoughts and joined a support community that helped him see that he wasn’t alone. 

Five years into his healing journey he now leads a Write Your Soul meeting that encourages others to express themselves through writing. In addition, he speaks at grief oriented conferences using his poetry to help those hurting from a loss. 

Dan lives in Michigan with his wife, Starr, and their fur baby, Ash.
